Mild lupus for 3 years

My wife age34 diagnosed with mild lupus 3 yrs before with one or two joint pains early and no other symptoms like rashes and all. She got elevated ANA and anti sm positive. Nowadays she has no such pain and at present medicated with mcqs only. My question is doctor whether her disease will aggrevate more.
