Dear Sir/M adam. I am sharing the recent lab results for a 47-year-old patient currently taking medication for back pain: • Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN): 7.07 mg/dL (Reference: 7.94 – 20.07 mg/dL) • Urea: 15.13 mg/dL (Reference: 17 – 43 mg/dL) Please advise on these low BUN/Urea readings And EST. GLOMERULAR FILTRATION RATE (eGFR) CALCULATE :113 mL/min/1.73 m2

Mildly low BUN/urea with a normal eGFR (113) is usually not a kidney concern. Correlate with clinical history and discuss with your doctor.
