Meprate 10 mg to delay periods

Hi I took meprate twice a day for 2 weeks to delay my period  after consulting my gynaecologist I didn't stop taking tablets in between but I have spotting before the completion of course with stomach pain Is this is my period? Still I need to take meprate ? Or will I get proper period after spotting If it is when will I get my periods?

If we give such a long treatment for delaying the period then a breakthrough bleeding is likely to occur in many patients. For delaying your periods you should have started the treatment only 3 days before the expected date of periods.
