It is important to always follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor. In this case, your doctor has prescribed a tapering dose of Medrol, starting with 8mg for the first week and then reducing to 4mg for the second week. This is a common practice when taking corticosteroids like Medrol to minimize potential side effects. It is generally considered safe to follow this dosing schedule as prescribed by your doctor. However, if you have any concerns or experience any unusual side effects, it is important to contact your doctor for further guidance. Additionally, it is important to follow up with your doctor regularly while taking this medication to monitor your progress and adjust the dosage if necessary. Regards, Dr UN Sahoo (MD)
