Medicine related after Normal Delivery

My wife has normal delivery. No complications. Doctor gave some medicines to cure a small cut and stich during normal delivery. Do we need to continue same medicines? How much time it will take that stitch to recover.

Yes.. Of course.. Doctor must have given a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicines for 5 to 7 days. She should continue with that. Complete healing takes 3 weeks. Pain is there for 1 to 2 weeks usually.
