Since 4 days, i have throat irritation, some redness in throat, hoarse voice and dry cough. Cough has started 2 days ago. Body temperature hovering between normal to 99. Is it viral or bacterial infection? Can i take azithromycin 500 ? If yes, for how many days? Or i dont take any medicine and do salt water gargles?

Hello, so you have any runny nose and body pains? These tend to be more typical for viral infections. Since you have had a bad throat for more than 3 days now we tend to give antibiotics.
Next Steps
You can start azithromycin 500mg once a day for 3 days
Health Tips
Please finish the course if antibiotics and also salt water gargle along with that
