Hello, My wife was recommended Dual Marker Test and Trisomy 21 result is 1:370. Just wanted a second opinion whether we should go for Maternal Blood fetal DNA test as well, as recommended. Just checking as we see this test to be very expensive around 15000 rupees? Please confirm. Thank you!!

Hello U have what is called intermediate risk 1:251-1:1000 is intermediate risk So for further confirmation yr doctor have u a test that has higher detection rate for t21 It's 99% sensitive to detect! So if u anxious enough to know yr child status about down, u can go But no point in doing triple/quadraple They are all screening test with even lower sensitivity than  combined test( NT + DUAL MARKER)
