Lump after dtp mmr shots

Hi At 1.5 year my daughter is given dpt,mmr on leg and arm, Now after 4 week leg still have hard lump, I thought it should ne fixed in a week or two. Before it was big and reddish but in week or two. That's was mostly healed but now still have small hard lump about size of penut which is same since last 2 weeks I have give her paracetamol and suspension syrup for 3 weeks as per describe by doctor.. Now doctor saying we will remove pump using surgery. So should i wait few more weeks?

If it's hard too touch and not refer or painless,leave it ALONE. It's normal tissue reaction to adjuvants in DTP vaccine,occurring in some children. It'll go away by itself,might take time. NO meds are required,definitely no surgery,UNLESS it's soft and squishy OR tender to touch.

I think you should visit another pediatrician for opinion and wait for another 1-2week

Your baby may have developed a vaccinoma. However it is very difficult to be sure without having a picture atleast. Kindly get a second opinion if you are not sure about surgery
