The fall might have brought some laxity of ligaments in spine and legs.. If proper rest was not taken at that time it's likely that the person will have altered weight bearing on foot which strains the muscles, fascia and joint structures of the side along with posture and gait deviations. Chronic pain, fatigue, swelling, varicose veins etc will present in the strained muscle groups.. Consult with a Physiotherapist to assess physical factors like these, which accounts to majority of problems she's having now... Pathological reasons are minor factors for the above symptoms.. Conservative management by your Physiotherapist might include therapeutic exercises, posture re-eduction, gait training, manual therapy, use of joint supports etc which is based on the evaluation..
