Lower back pain from 2months - X-ray done -initial findings no nerve compression or disc issue -concluded muscle spasm. From X-ray spine is completely straight due to muscle stiffnes and the complete body load is coming on spine hence the pain. been advised for physics therapy for a week to relieve the muscle stiffness. Now after 1week physio also the pain is persisting. To clarify once again o don't have radiating pain to leg. After standing still for 5mins the pain travels from lower back towards toward front upper thigh from sides forming a C-Curvature path from back to front via sideways and ceases. I have taken pain killer, muscle relaxants , hot packs , physio , Multi vitamin tablets. Pls advise the next steps !!

Muscle spasm usually get relived with physio and muscle relaxants. If it is still persistent you need to take rest and do physiotherapy as your strain is still persisting on the back. First relieve stress on back , maintain proper posture , sleep on hard and straight surface. Continue you medication along with topical aceclo gel and hot pack with physiotherapy including interferential therapy or ultrasound therapy.
Next Steps
Rest , hot pack , continue physiotherapy

Hello. By history the problem seems to be disc herniation in lower spine usually called sciatica. Xray does not shows disc or nerve compression.
Next Steps
You need to take an mri of lumbosacral spine. I operate a clinic where we treat disc issues non surgically. We have centre in Bengaluru also.
Health Tips
Until then do not bend and do not lift weights. Sleep in the sides. Avoid bike riding.
