Lower Back Pain

2025-05-27 04:32:00
I'm having lower back since around 3 months now. I'm an IT guy and it started due to long hours of sitting(10-12 hours). I used to have a sedentary lifestyle previously and used to do no exercises. I started physiotherapy exercises(cobra pose, cat cow, bridges, etc.) and gym and started to feel better now. Previously I had pain even after 5 minutes of sitting and couldn't bend forwards. But now I'm able to sit for 30 minutes after which some pain starts. I have taken a height adjustable table so that I can switch between sitting and standing for work. I've to ensure that I'm sitting straight without hunching/rounding the back otherwise pain starts. I feel no pain sitting in flat surfaces. In the X-Ray and MRI report, it mentioned about pars defect and loss of lumbar lordosis due to posture. My doctor says pars defect is usually congenital and my case doesn't seem to be due to pars defect. Can someone please help how I can completely eliminate the pain to get back normal?

Is there any history of accidental fall or trauma? They have mentioned it as pars defect, but didn't mention what defect exactly. U can have congenital elongation of pars interarticularis, but in ur case it seems like there is a fracture at pars interarticularis. To know this exactly u should have gone for x-ray of LS spine oblique view to look for beheaded scottish terrier sign.
