Lower back pain

2018-04-21 08:52:08
I feel unbearable lower back pain once or twice every year when I tried to lift something heavy. The pain continues for a week gradually reducing itself. I am unable to sit upfront on a chair or bed for first 2-3 days. Is anything serious as it happens at the spine area of lower back at waistline.

Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hello It seems that you do not have sufficient muscular strength to lift heavy weights. So, first you need to build proper muscle strength only then you will be able to lift those heavy weights. It would lead you to other back problems like disc herniation, retrolisthesis, muscle pull, muscle spasm and many more.
Next Steps
1)Avoid lifting heavy weights. 2) Consultant a Physiotherapist.
