Low platelet count

My brother recovered from covid and typhoid about 2 weeks ago. His cbc test was done again today and his platelet count is still low. It is 1.21 lac. His d dimer test was also done. It is normal. What should he do to increase the platelet count?

It is just 2 weeks he recovered from it, so let your body take time to replenish its store on its own. However, you need to give him proper nutritious food which includes sprouts, green leafy vegetables, fruits specially Kiwi. It will help to increase the levels.

It is normal.. No need to worry.. Anything above 1 lac is fine.. Platelets may be higher sometimes auto analysers show low platelets due to size difference..
