Low lying placenta at 19 weeks

I am currently completed 19 weeks of pregnancy and did the anomaly scan today..it shows that i still have anterior low lying placenta reaching internlal os. I have to travel to my hometown(3 hrs in flight/28 hrs in train) as my husband is there and have planned my delivery over there. but doctor is not letting me go because of the placental position. please suggest when the placenta can migrate and be normal as the earliest? because its very much necessary for me to go there..thanks

Your doctor is totally correct in not allowing you to travel at the stage of pregnancy with the low lying placenta, as there are chances of bleeding in a low lying placenta specifically when you have any sort of exertion like outstation travel..
Next Steps
whether your Placenta will migrate and when it will migrate cannot be said by anyone ...you can repeat a scan at 24 weeks of pregnancy to look for placental position
