Low haemoglibin and serum iron

My haemoglobin is 8 and serum iron 14. Should i go for iron tablets or iron infusion in this case. I have not had iron tablets yet.

Cap fefol one at night after food for two months. Folic acid5 2 times a day after food for 2 months. But infusion  is best as it hardly  cause constipation.

You can take tab fefol 200.mg thrice per day for a month Tab vitamin. 500mg  one morning one evening for  15 days. Repeat Hbtest after a month.
Next Steps
Take more of fresh green vegetables,  fruits, beetroot, pumpkin. Replace sugar by jaggery for sweetening. consult online after a .month.

Please share other parameters also. What is the status of vitamin B 12? What is the peripheral smear telling? What about RDW? Knowing all this will be helpful to decide on treatment. much of this would be available in the test report that you had already undertaken

You can take iron infusions , mostly safe especially ferric carboxy maltose,raises the hemoglobin level rapidly and avoids the gastric issues associated with the oral form,and prolonged use to improve the anemia.
