Yes psychotherapy helps a lot with confidence building, communication skills, and social anxiety. As we grow up, we get conditioned to communicate a certain way. It could be due to the family/ culture we come from, or the experiences that we have had. That style however may not be the healthiest for our inter personal relationships and professional life. In therapy, a lot of my clients have benefited by inculcating a healthy communication style, and they have also experienced an increased sense of self esteem within a few sessions.
