He needs to modify his existing medication if its happening often... Plz consult endocrinologist

Hypoglycemia can occur due to many reasons but most commonly when there is mismatch between food intake and medicines which is prescribed. So if Hypoglycemia has occurred rarely due missed/ delayed meals can b corrected by regular meals. If it’s happening regularly then need to step down on the medicines.
