Loss of smell

2021-09-26 07:02:52
Myself and husband had cold and fever last week and it got recovered in 3-4 days. We had taken rapid covid antigen test which is negative and we had taken 2 doses of covishield. Now our cold is recovered but there is loss of smell. It's been a week now but smelling sense is bit low. Should I consult doctor or will it take more time to get normal smelling sense ?

It may take 1 month to even 6 months. To recover the loss of smell! You may take methylcobalamin to speed up sensory 'nerve recovery!

Its probably due to covid. Loss of smell will improve on its own. Keep taking multivitamins. Can consult me privately
