Loss of hearing
Two years before my mother has faced a thunderstorm while visiting Sundarban and immediately after that she is having trouble in listening and nowadays her voice is also getting lighter although she tries to speak with louder voice but to us it's very light... Pls suggest...Voice is getting lighter and lighter day by day....
Your mother's age is 80years...at this age many age related changes happen in our body...her hearing loss many be due her senility,,we have to confirm this by doing hearing test 'pure tone audiometry'
Regarding her voice getting lighter ..we have to rule out this by doing laryngoscopy 'examination of the voice box under vision'
