Loose motion and Vomiting
We are out on a trip
My son is 11 yrs - 37 kg weight.
Since morning he is vomiting and has loose motion
Gave him Emeset and ondem for vomiting as these were available with us
Also gave him enterogermina two bottles morning and evening.
Gave ORSL ..Not eaten anything but still vomiting and loose motion .
We have OFM 50/100 suspension.
Can we start this antibiotic ? Plz suggest dosage .

Prepare a ORS solution - one packet of ORS and one litre of water or electral, give around 300 ml after each loose stool for rehydration.
Give Tablet Zinc 20 mg 1 0D for 14 days.
You can start tab cefixime 200 mg 1 BD ( antibiotic) for 5 days.
You can continue ondansetron as morning and night dose.
