  4. Liver lesion. Anything to worry?

Had an ultrasound for kidney stone . As a result , found a grade 1 fatty liver with 19mm ×31 mm sized irregular shaped hyperechoic lesion in periportal region of Liver . As per ultrasound it might be focal steatosis or hemangioma .  What should be course of treatment ? Anything to worry ?

Get a CECT (A+P) iv contrast scan done and follow it up with a General or Hepatobiliary surgeon

Hemangiomas are common in liver. It is mostly harmless. Be on regular yearly follow up with abdomen scans. Do consult a surgeon or surgical Gastroenterologist to be completely sure. The size is not very large.
