Your reports show a fasting
sugar of 101 mg/dl and an
HbA1c of 6.0 percent. This means your blood sugar is slightly above normal and falls in the prediabetic range. It indicates that your bodyâs sugar control is weakening, but
diabetes has not yet developed. Your
thyroid levels look normal, so there is no thyroid-related cause.
This stage is completely reversible with proper diet and lifestyle. Avoid sugar, sweets, refined flour, and cold drinks. Choose whole grains like brown rice, dal, oats, and multigrain roti. Include salads, vegetables, sprouts, paneer, eggs, or lentils in every meal. Finish dinner early and keep portions small. Sleep 7 hours daily and start light walking or yoga at least 30 minutes a day.
If you follow this strictly, your HbA1c can drop below 5.7 in three to six months.
