Lesion in tongue
Hi doctor,
My uncle's tongue torn and he is feeling the pain when we showed to doc they told its cancer, we have done some scanning also I have attached the report... But in the report it is not mentioned as cancer... We don't know wot to do... Is it cancer, then what we need to do next?.. Is operation required?... As the operation is on tongue how it affects... If it is cancer which stage it is?... Is it curable??... Please suggest.. Thank you in advance
One would have to clinically look at the lesion to determine the risk of malignancy.. based on that we may decide to observe/repeat the biopsy/excise the lesion.

Hi. The biopsy report says it’s only epithelial hyperplasia. Not malignant. Is he pan or gutka chewer, smoker or alcoholic. If so ask him to stop all.
Next Steps
Take multivitamin for 15 days and antibiotics for 7 days. If the lesion has not changed in size or increasing then repeat biopsy.
