Hot Fomentation. Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side.. Warm up and cool down is a must.

Dear Sir, As correctly mentioned, the cause of muscle atrophy in isolation, could be neurological. However there is a cyst called spinoglenoid notch cyst, which if present can compress a nerve called the suprascapular nerve and cause muscle atrophy. This might need surgery. Rotator cuff tears if present are best treated surgically followed by good physiotherapy.

See a Spine Surgeon, get a neuro evaluation, do EMG/NCV. Once the cause is known, can treat u better

You should do well with a course of Electrical stimulation of the Supraspinatus & infraspinatus and strengthening exercises with Therabands.

Hi... If your problem is atrophy ..then certain Physio exercises will definitely help you to come out of the issue.. I would like to know the exact reason what got you the problem.. Usually the atrophy will be due to some neurological issue... If you let me know in detail then I can be in a better position to guide you presicly.. Need to know how much I can lift your hand...and how far you can reach your back etc....
