My child's left ear is paining abruptly. Used Tariflox drops on prescription. Kindly suggest something as he seems to be in severe pain.

He seems to be suffering from acute suppurative otitis media which is a common type of acute Middle ear infection in children. It usually occurs secondary to common cold or viral upper respiratory tract infection. You may need to give antibiotics and analgesic syrups for few days
