Left arm throbbing pain n numbness

2025-05-27 08:23:16
I get weird pulsating, and throbbing pain in my left arm when I walk around my home.. also, the area around my nipple on the left side. Feels a bit strained. They started happening suddenly three days ago, otherwise, I was able to walk for 30 minutes without any pain or problem. Dr has done an ECG, which is normal and a trop I test, which is negative. She says nothing to worry since no other symptom, like shortness of breath, dizziness, sweating.. I have been prescribed medicine for sore muscles only

In addition to the heart you also have a shoulder. The investigations done so far are centered around the heart. Please also consult an Orthopedic surgeon. There might be some problem with the shoulder.

This might be because of some sudden stress to your arm, lifting something heavy suddenly. At this age heart disease is quite uncommon. Take pain killer if you feel like and give rest to the side of pain.

Such type of pain could be due to radicular pain resulting from cervical spine or heart disorders. However in your age group heart disease is not common,.You can repeat the ECG If no significant changes, consult a orthopedist

Trust your treating Physician , there can be a number of reasons for such vague symptoms. Physical examination as well as investigations are required to rule these out. Complete your current treatment, if it doesn't work then only you need to worry.
