LDL reduced, Non HDL improvement

2026-01-09 04:40:29
My earlier lipid profile showed: total cholesterol 241 mg/dL, LDL 145 mg/dL, non-HDL 191 mg/dL, triglycerides 95 mg/dL Hdl 50 mg/dL My latest test (after lifestyle changes) shows improvement: total cholesterol 219 mg/dL, LDL 82 mg/dL, non-HDL 171 mg/dL, triglycerides 85 mg/dL, HDL 48 mg/dL. I have started exercising regularly (walking and gym), don’t smoke, and have no diabetes or symptoms. I am concerned about the still elevated Non Hdl.

Continue Lifestyle modification and regular exercise . Mildly raised Non-HDL alone is NOT dangerous when LDL & TG are controlled. If no family history of premature cardiac disease .
