Lazy eye in medical term is also known as amblyopia. I think when you were operated, when you were below 10 years. That time wrong procedures were adopted. First pleoptic treatment for the improvement of the vision in the affected eye should have been done in a higher centre or wherever pleotics and orthoptics department is available. When vision in both eyes would have become equal or almost equal , then squint surgery should have been done. Pleoptic exercise is effective only upto 10 years of age. When amblyopic eye is operated without improvement of vision , it regains the anatomical position in next 5 to 10 years, so I think it is not possible for you to have binocular vision at 22 years of age or at a later age.
Next Steps
Nothing much can be done now.

Hello, If it is lazy eye,,that is poor vision since many years, surgery can be done for cosmetic purpose only, vision will not regained. It is better to get evaluated by a squint specialist. Hope this helps.
