Last week of pregnancy or due date
In 6th week and 13th week ultrasound, due date is given which is at the end of 40th week.
My Doctors are saying that in India babies delivered on or before 39 weeks. That 40th week is for US and foreign countries. The 39th week end is the time where they are asking us to terminate the pregnancy even when no test is indicating any kind of complications.
Please let us know if this is correct?

The date of delivery is Never calculated from ultrasound
It's calculated by adding 9 months n 7 days to lmp
In case of forgotten lmp or irregular period edd will be calculated by the first 7 weeks ultrasound
U definitely need to wait till edd that's 40 weeks if there are no other risk factors
Induction is advisable at 40 weeks one day if no spontaneous onset of labour
