Lactulose for soft stools

I take duphalac 5 ml everyday. I get two bowel movements everyday. First is well formed stool and second one is very soft stool almost like diarrhoea. Is this due to lactulose side effect (even though the dose is so low). I want to stop the Multiple bowel movement irritation. Any advice would be helpful.

Twice a day absolutely normal thing No need to worry about your medication U can stop taking medication if you are having soft stools without medication
