I have suffering from the above issue for the past one year and it's been on and off for me. I tried IFT and also many stretches but nothing worked. So please let me know how to diagnose the issue.

1. Did u do proper assessment & diagnosis by a senior sports physiotherapist ? Or else do it first 2. Simply IFT/stretching won't b helpful ! 3. Do wat ur physiotherapy says first , simply don't take ur own treatment . 4. Check ur MRI , XRAY , spinal posture , muscle flexibility by a senior physiotherapist 5. It can be curable only don't worry believe ur PHYSIOTHERAPIST .

Proper posture should be maintained, avoid bending forward/back, avoid lifting heavy objects while bending down from spine. Check for D3 levels and take medicines accordingly if found any deficinecy. IFT+US if not giving you any relief  after 2 weeks of treatment, then you should consult ortho doc for proper diagnosis and treatment.
