In Pregnancy there is a lot of weight you put on which causes excessive load on the knees. Also, folding the knees as in cross legged sitting or squatting causes pain due to knee cap injury. If you have pain in the front it is due to knee cap which can be cured completely with few instructions.
If pain is in your sides or back of knee it might be due to meniscus or cartilage injury which will require evaluation.
If there is associated instability it might be due to quadriceps weakness or ligament injury.
Complex evaluation but can be treated completely but only with right advice.
