As described by you .
As per Mri reports
1.tibial spine hair line fracture - u need rest for another 4 week's with knee brace while walking on resting u can remove it.
But no forceful knee bending or jerky movements while bending knee .
2. Acl tear - Acl ligament give stability to knee joint and it's attached where this tibial Spine is fractured so it corelated but question is - did it avulsed from base ? so it will be good to examine mri films for it and that mri film finding should match with clincial finding
3.medial meniscus injury - how bad is it again need to see on mri films is it injury or tear.
As per treatment part :-
1.As hair line fracture is there we can give it try for 4 more weeks with physiotherpy excersies to strong knee muscle and long knee brace for support
And then u can strat walking after examining by ortho
2. If still pain is there , difficulty in walking and running , feel like your knee will give away (instability) then u need diagnostic arthroscopy to check what are the findings inside knee and same time as per findings :-
- Acl reconstruction can be done if required. Or repair Acl or fix it if avulsed fracture seen.
- meniscus tear - if small then only trimimg will help or if it's big then that part of tear is shaved off( cut off) ,
if no tear only loosening then repair with specialized sutures is done.
Hope that answer all to your queries
