Kidney stone problem

USG REPORT....... A calculus is noted in the upper group of calyces of right kidney,measuring 7.8mm. A large calculus is seen at pelvi-ureteric junction,measuring 12mm. A calculus is noted in the lower group of calyces of the left kidney measuring 4.1mm Plz suggest the option either opration or medicine which is safe ?

hello there. since you are having multiple stones, hydration therapy alone wont help you. you will have to go for a surgery. it's called shock wave therapy. in this there will be no incision and its very safe. shockwaves are used to break the stones into a smaller fragments which can easily pass through urine. consult a urologist for further help. regards
