Kid tongue stuck for a minute.

My son is 6 and a half yrs old.I observed one thing which happened today and a month back. His tongue was stuck for few seconds and his mouth went sidewards a little. He couldn't talk that time. The same thing happened one month back.He did the same when he was sleeping. After 20 seconds,he was normal. Today, he did the same for 40 to 50 seconds and fine afterwards. He said he couldn't talk that time and not able to move his tongue that time. He is fine afterwards. His words are not very proper for one hour. After that, he talks normally and playing. The temperature was cold today and he was playing in cold water before that happened. He was also didn't drink enough water or ate food. This happened in the morning. He ate his breakfast late. He was playing in water. Since lockdown, he is not going out and not in sunshine for past 2 months. Whether all these could be the reason? The same thing happened when he was 3 yrs old once. For 10seconds during sleep and he was fine after that. what to do?

Looks like abnormal movement in the tongue /stiffness in the tongue .Requires to be investigated for any neurogical cause .you can take a video picture through the mobile and send it any neurologist or pediatrician for further evaluation and advice.
Next Steps
Take a video clipping if possible when the child gets such problem again and have a regular consultation with your family physician first and then follow the advice

It seems a convulsion you need proper investigation for it kindly make a video if possible and kindly consult for it by video call and keep proper record ( old) with yourself...don’t ignore the problem if it happened so many times as sometimes treatment may continue for yeast

The child will have to be investigated for abnormal movements( deviation of the mouth and protrusion of the tongue) Visit a paediatrician or a peadiatric neurologist for further evaluation

Well this is certainly not related to lockdown or not going out in sun. Tounge and mouth deviation raises a concern for me. As such a thing can be related to local/ systemic causes. And since it has been repeating it raises more suspicion. I would like to get him examine and evaluate neurologically. We need to rule out certain things before we jump to any conclusions. Have you Visited any doctor when first time this happened at 3 yrs?
Next Steps
Please visit nearest pediatrician.
