Juvenile myoclonic epilepsy is a type of generalised epilepsy with good treatment. Medications usually include valproate or levitiracetam. If it is EEG proven and already diagnosed as JME, with ANTIEPILEPTICS if u don't have new seizures, just  continue same dose with regular follow up with treating neurologist and medications need to be taken usually life long. And ANTIEPILEPTIC which ur taking is a good drug with low risk if ur planning kids also. Avoid sleep deprvation. Meditation , relaxation exercises. Don't skip meds.
