I have pain in my right hand ring finger but it's not there while am doing anything but when I am not doing anything my hands are relaxed I feel pain in my ring finger only Should I visit doctor or am I thinking too much

Is the pain more in early morning or in cold weather? If yes might be rheumatoid arthritis. For now take analgesics and use finger splint.
