Their could be infection in tooth or some other reason. Because their are very less chances that you will have swelling after 6 months of surgery. It's better to consult with doctor online or offline for better guidance and treatment options. Don't self medicate. It's better to consult then take medicine.

Surgery won't be a cause of swelling after 6 months. There might be problem in some other tooth or also can be a recurrent infection. There are many more possibilities of swelling. Kindly do not self medicate without knowing the reason of swelling.
Next Steps
Visit dentist for clinical examination.
Health Tips
Apply ice from outside to the swelling.
