I have the following symptoms -1)jaw pain, 2)clicking sound from my right side of jaw, 3)tightness of jaw muscle, 4) difficulty in breathing, 5)neck pain and shoulder pain. Where (which department of doctor) should I see at first? Please don't ignore it. I am really in big trouble. Please help me.

hello, you need to relax. you can do hot fomentation near your ears on both sides. visit a dentist and get it checked. ask for a night guard. if it still persists, consult an oral surgeon. listen to music or take a warm water bath before sleeping. this will help you to calm down.

If you don't have an organic lesion or growth in that area after opg xray and Ctscan then this looks like a functional problem with tmj jaw joint which can be treated by tmj rehabilitation and a team of orthodontist. Oral surgeon. And. ENT specialist.

It is a neuromuscular problem with an imbalance in your jaw muscles leading to a tmj problem. see www.tmjindia.com for the only person in india with a MKG (myokinesograph).
