My daughter is 6 days old, she was admitted in the hospital for Jaundice when she was 3 days (bilirubin level was 20.1) and got discharged when she was 4 days (bilirubin level was 12.2). Again today went for a follow up visit, now the bilirubin level was showing as 15.2. Kindly suggest shall we give Liv 52 drops for 6 days girl, if so how much the dosage?

It's called rebound hyperbilirubinemia. There's absolutely no need for LIV 52 drops. it won't help. If there are risk factors then as your doctor must have told if there's further need for phototherapy or not. Don't give any medicines. The pathophysiology for neonatal jaundice is different. I would advise do as per the doctor who's handling her she might need another day of phototherapy.

First of all , the treatment for neonatal hyperbilirubinemia is phototherapy and regular monitoring. Liv 52 is not going to help.
