While my ovum pickup was done with anesthesia... After that i got pain for one day... Iui was also painful ...will ivf day i will given anesthesia or not or I will have pain.

Hi. In IVF , the embryo transfer is same as is done in IUI. It is not painful, although you may feel slight discomfort at the time of procedure. After the transfer, there could be slight pain abdomen but it’s nothing too serious. Just relax & go for the procedure. However, if you’re too anxious, you should speak to your treating doctor for anaesthesia & go ahead with their advice.. All the best!
