Itching near anal area, Fungal infection
I am having itching near anal area, inner thighs, buttocks and below scrotum since December 2023 end. I used luliconazole cream but it didn't helped.
Doctor (Ayurvedic doctor) said it is fungal infection and prescribed Itraconazole 200mg for 20 days and ointment.
I have read Itraconazole is not safe for liver, if i consume it for 20 days, will it damage my liver?

It doesnot damage liver in 20 days. You can get liver function tests after taking itraconazole to check. Dont use steroid based ointment for fungal infection. It will treat at first then fungus will become resistant to other treatment. And it will be difficult to treat later
