Itching in body
I am suffering from fungus infection (below waist).
I consult dermatologist .
.
He suggested cap :itraconazole 100mg , hydroxyzine 25 mg , and micanazole nitrate 2% w/w
He told within 2months it will be completely n permanently cured .
I take medicine for 3months but it has only temporary effect .
Now I Stop taking medicine (approx 9_ 10 days) this time itching in whole body.
Should I take levicitrizine +itraconazole tablet?

Recurrences of Jock itch can be because of 3 reasons:
1. Incomplete treatment: Jock itch can take 3-6 months to cure. Kindly stick to the treatment suggested and do not stop treatment until your dermatologist recommends. You have done this, but did you ask dermatologist before stopping your treatment?
2. Fungus can stay in cloths, toilet seat, nails and cause reinfection.

3 Resistant infection. Again a dermatologist alone can help you in this case.
However, this time it might NOT be a fungal infection because it is fungus rarely spreads to full body.

You may be suffering from fungal infection of the inner thighs groin and buttocks area which we call tinea cruris. this is commonly referred as jock itch. It is easily treatable by taking 4 to 6 weeks of treatment which includes tablets along with creams.
