Issue with dental bridge

2020-06-09 11:37:27
I used to have little gap in the front line teeth (4 teeth in upper portion) to fix gap I approached a doctor for some easy affordable cosmetic solution. He suggested me a dental bridge(smile designing). During treatment my teeth was bit tweeked (root canal) and bridge was fixed. This was done in 2013 from then real problem started my teeth height has increased, at times my lower teeth touches my upper teeth, it pains during nights mostly. I consulted my doctor immediately after fixing bridge he said it's all good, just takes some time to get used  to it but it's the same. Now I am just looking for great opinion to get rid of caps, bridges etc. Want to have a better look with affordable cost by removing this artificial bridge (some permanent Sol plz).

Now let’s discuss your issues 1. pain in upper teeth Solution A - retreatment of upper teeth and placing cap again or implants with nice prosthesis Solution B - not really a solution but get height adjustment so that the touching stops and we may be able to stop the symptoms for certain period or more 2. Looks - A . U need a good cosmetic surgeon to plan an affordable prosthesis , yet to make it affordable you may have to need to save the underlying tooth For me to guess the diagnosis , I may need an X-ray of upper front region or/and a good pic of teeth with bite and without bite
Next Steps
Find a good conservative dentist who does smile design too
Health Tips
Plz don’t go to a surgeon or implantologist if u consider saving your teeth , as every dentist sees a patient according to his/her speciality

Pain during night time might be because of two reasons:-. Infection in d bridge (root canal treated                            teeth )                  Upper teeth touching d lower teeth You have to immediately replace the bridge..as decrease of the height won't be possible in the same bridge . Implants are also an  options ...if u don't want the bridge.but they are definitely expensive then bridges. Permanent bridges when done properly are usually nice affordable options .
Next Steps
take  second opinion from another dentist. or tele consultation will help u.
Health Tips
don't go for advertising and cheaper options .. there are many options in good bridges so choose wisely.

Hello ma'am, your history was not complete and it would have been nice if you shared your tooth pictures. Once the bridge is placed if you remove it you have to place another bridge only thats the only option. I suggest you get rid of that old bridge get that root canal checked with a x ray if its incomplete undergo a re root canal and proceed with a Emax bridge which is highly esthetic. If you really dont want the brige the next best option implants which requires extraction of present natural teeth followed by implant placement which i dont suggest for you as you already hav a bridge for past7 years so your natural tooth shld be fine
Next Steps
provide with pictures and x rays for better evaluation and treatment planning
