Acl reconstruction surgery using hamstring (Autograft). Tibial fixed with bioabsorbable screw and femoral fixed with endobutton. I know endobutton is made of titanium. Some research studies show that titanium can cause various problems such as weakening of immune system & even cancer. Can endobuttons be removed afterwards. Is endobutton safe??

It wudnt be in use if ut was not safe! Have faith in your doctor! Nothin is wrong with titanium endobutton! Infact even titanium screw is absolutely acceptable! Relax and concentrate on your rehab! - Dr Dave
