My mother had fluid in her lungs. Doctor advised us for pleural tapping cause in pa view it was either from fungal or from TB. Fluid has been removed and sent for the lab for various test and reported back. ADA report- 12.4 Protein total (pleural fluid)-3.78g/dl Glucose- 85mg/dl Genexprt MTB complex not detected FLUID CELL COUNT TEST Appearance -slightly turbid Volume-30 Total Wbc-10874 Neutrophils-73 Lymphocyte-22 CULTURE Few pus cells,no bacteria seen AFS TEST No AFS seen Now see she is under Ethambutol 400 Rcinex 450 Voriconazole 200
