Irregular periods after taking i pill then after that periods become irregular and heavy hair shedding.dermetologist gave me minoxidil and mometasone fureate and daignosed with alopecia areata.

What kind pill were you on? Progesterone only pill can cause hair loss. Of course there are other causes of hair loss too. Your doctor must have gone through various factors which could be contributing to your hair loss.
