Thank you for your question. Periods can become irregular temporarily. It doesn't always mean something is wrong. Your body may be adjusting to new stress, diet , exercise, sleep patterns etc. You can keep a menstrual calendar for three months and if things don't improve see your gynaecologist for tests and advice.
If you are sexually active its probably best to see your gynaecologist sooner.
