Irregular periods after abortion

It's been 6 months since I had a medical abortion. I have noticed that since the abortion I have only had I regular cycle (32 days) all the rest were 45-50 days cycles. Why is this happening? Is this normal? I maintain a very healthy lifestyle and have a normal body weight and workout often. Before the abortion my periods were very regular and usual cycle was 32-33 days.
