Suggest you to visit Orthopaedic doctor near to u. To rule out is it related to your hip  joint or just an ache in your buttock. If it's just an ache in buttock physiotherpy will cure it. And if it's related to hip then u may require xray for hip and then mri  to rule out avascular necrosis. Ideally any hip prblm pain occur in groin region but in some can ache in glute area. So plz get your self examined.

This pain may be due to some local spasm of gluteal muscles.. it may be temporary in most of the cases..
Next Steps
If it is going on everytime you sit and stand, it needs further evaluation.. better to start with some exercises for strengthening gluteal muscles
Health Tips
You can start with hot fomentation and apply local analgesic ointment for pain relief..
